Dermal and lip fillers are hyaluronic acid-based injectable treatments that are used for harmonizing and augmenting facial features. Hyaluronic acid binds water molecules to enhance and restore volume in the face as well as to provide a hydrating effect.
We offer the Belotero line of fillers from Merz Aesthetics, which smoothly integrate into surrounding tissue for natural-looking results.

Treatment takes approximately 30-45 minutes depending on the number of areas being treated. A numbing cream will be applied prior to lip fillers.

It is important to stay hydrated after filler injections. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours to reduce bruising. Defer vigorous physical activity and exposure to hot environments such as saunas for 48 hours. Avoid touching the treated area to reduce the chance of infection and displacing the filler. It is recommended to sleep on your back to prevent the filler from dispersing. Avoid any manipulation (e.g. lymphatic massage, gua sha) of the treated area for at least 2 weeks while the filler integrates with the surrounding tissues.
You may apply ice/cold compresses to reduce swelling and bruising. Acetaminophen can be used for pain relief; aspirin and NSAIDs such as ibuprofen may increase the risk of bruising.
